Ting started her studies on nuclear physics in 2010 at Sichuan University, China. She completed her doctoral studies at Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie (HZB) in 2019, with an emphasis on semiconductor physics and synchrotron radiation under Beamline KMC-1 at the BESSY II, Berlin. Her Ph.D. thesis is titled “X-ray Spectroscopic Study of Heterostructure Contacting Schemes for Optoelectronic Devices”.

Between 2019 and 2023, Ting worked as a postdoctoral research associate at Wuhan Photon Source (WHPS) Project in Wuhan University, China.

In 2023, Ting prepared for and joined the Chinese patent bar exam, which expanded her general understanding of patent legal knowledge.

In 2024, Ting started working at DHS Patentanwaltsgesellschaft mbH.

As a patent attorney candidate, Ting does her training predominantly in the fields of electronics and semiconductor technology.

Ting speaks English and Chinese.
