Peter Nilsson graduated in 1999 from the Technical University of Denmark in Copenhagen as a Master of Science in Engineering. His major fields of study were acoustics, signal processing and mathematical modeling. Peter’s master thesis relates to mathematical modeling and analysis of chaotic dynamical systems.
From 2000 to 2003, Peter worked at Plougmann & Vingtoft Intellectual Property Consulting in Copenhagen and from 2003 to 2005 in the patent department of GN ReSound A/S. In 2005, he was registered as a European Patent Attorney and moved to Munich where he worked at the patent law firm Kramer Barske Schmidtchen until 2011. Peter passed the German patent bar examination in 2010 and was registered as a European Trademark and Design Attorney at the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market in 2011. He joined DHS Patentanwalts GmbH in 2012.
As a patent attorney, Peter has specialized in the fields of satellite navigation technology, medical imaging technology, hearing aids, audiologic diagnostic equipment, electronics, software, and cryptography.
Peter speaks German, English, Danish (mother-tongue), and Swedish.
