The legal professional titles \u201cpatent attorney\u201d and \u201cauthorized representative before the European Patent Office\u201d (\u201cEuropean Patent Attorney\u201d) were given by the Federal Republic of Germany and the European Patent Office, respectively.<\/p>\n
